In the second quarter of 2022, the top Music and Audio apps in the Middle East demonstrated varied performance trends across weekly downloads, revenue, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Spotify: Music and Podcasts saw its weekly revenue fluctuate, peaking at around $178 in the final week of June. Weekly downloads showed a significant upward trend, reaching approximately 80.6K in early June. The app also maintained a strong presence with weekly active users rising steadily to around 2M by the end of the quarter.

StarMaker: Sing Karaoke Songs experienced a notable decline in weekly revenue, starting from $121K at the end of March and dropping to around $75K by the end of June. However, weekly downloads increased, peaking at about 77.7K in mid-June. Weekly active users also showed a positive trend, growing to approximately 203K by the final week of the quarter.
